PHP Web Developer

Detailed Description:

*Under the general supervision of the Manager of Information Technology, responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of projects within a Magento 2 framework. The PHP Web Developer works with the rest of the development team to develop launch, maintain, and break/fix new websites, existing websites, and business initiatives on the web.

This position requires an understanding of Magento: *

  • Structure of catalog, indexes, promotions, price generation logic.
  • The architecture of checkout, payment/shipment methods, sales/order processing
  • Advanced core knowledge – forms/grids full functionality, API, widgets, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in troubleshooting Magento errors as well as other web-based applications
  • Manage product and category data
  • Manage Magento Admin Panel functions and settings
  • Help develop modules and web applications to improve efficiencies and customer experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing custom and Magento code
  • Optimize site performance, stability, and security
  • Rebuild Admin for 3 different stores

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Must have at least 2 years Magento experience recently

Junior Systems Administrator

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Information Technology, responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of workstations and associated peripherals, virtual and physical network servers, software and network/virtual appliances. The Jr. Systems Administrator works as part of the Information Technology team to assist maintaining network infrastructure, applications support, phone systems and related end-user systems while maintaining PCI compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, physical and virtual servers
  • Configure and manage network printing environment
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and update Windows and Linux OS server environments
  • Manage Active Directory users, groups and file permissions
  • Maintain DNS, DHCP, and other network services
  • Adapt and enforce corporate-wide network security policies
  • Maintain enterprise antivirus and malware detection systems
  • Implement software and hardware solutions to improve IT operations

Scrum Master

This individual must be dedicated to the project and establish a periodic schedule of scrum and touchpoint meetings to facilitate team progress throughout the bi-weekly Sprint cycle. He or she should understand the various aspects of the team, including business analysis, quality assurance, software development and the layers of support for on-going application maintenance and data requests.

Although not management or a project manager, the ScrumMaster must employ certain techniques to the team and be a practitioner of Scrum best practices, organization and collaboration with the represented business areas and technical teams. This individual must continue to build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged with an emphasis on community and problem-solving. He/she must facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and work closely with the BCEL Product Owner on grooming and maintaining a viable Product Backlog.

This individual must have experience in the dedicated role of a ScrumMaster for at least 3 years. He/she should have a good working knowledge of Scrum principles, practices and theory, as well as knowledge of patterns and techniques for filling the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (i.e. numerous Burndown technologies, Retrospective formats, processes in bugs and defects, minimal viable product approaches). This individual should have experience with successful Agile techniques, such as User Stories, Storyboarding, User Review sessions, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Capacity Planning, Deployment planning, and execution, etc.

The ScrumMaster should have experience in leading both software development and operational application support teams: setting priorities, expectations and providing guidance to the team members for a high-quality release of a product.

This individual should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with team members, Product Owner, stakeholders, project managers, and users.

This individual should have a valid ScrumMaster certification.

Quality Assurance Analyst
This role is responsible for analyzing applications including our ERP system, websites, and related development requirements for quality control. This position will be developing test cases and drafting testing environments to test for bugs and usability issues. Will be responsible for developing NetSuite, Magento and Oracle Cloud WMS (Logfire) business flows and supplemental training on multiple third-party applications such as Practitest, Dell Boomi and Contivio. A Quality Assurance Analyst requires sound, comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills and a strong understanding of how to use and interact with websites and our web-based applications.

Primary duties:

  • Test complex, high-impact, high-profile projects/programs for errors.
  • Create test plans, test cases, business requirements specifications, and scripts; considers end-to-end system flows.
  • Identify defects, recommend an appropriate course of action, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Document, evaluate, and research test results for future replication.
  • Interface with ERP Business Partners, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand needs and influence decisions.

Customer Engagement Center representatives are responsible for answering incoming calls, making outgoing phone calls, responding to customer email/internet correspondences.  While doing this you will maintain accurate records on each call, notating each call in the computer system.

This position is all about solving customer problems! Sometimes that takes some detective work… so if you’re a fan of “Where’s Waldo” and “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”  This is the job for you!

Applicants must have strong follow-through skills with the ability to go back and forth between tasks as necessary.
Must be VERY courteous and polite on the telephone, making sure that the customer understands how important and valued they are to the company.
Should be able to handle a high volume workload and multi-task between non-phone and phone work.
